The home has worked out nicely. It is in a lovely, quiet, semi-rural location. There is a tiny household resort across the road. Named Vuon Trau (betel garden), it is resplendent in stunning tropical plants, our view from a lot of vantage points. We have turn into really friendly with the staff at Vuon Trau and they have been very useful when we have had dramas like the energy and water going off. The Phuc Kien Assembly hall was when a small temple exactly where Thien Hau Thanh Mau statue (a goddess who protects merchants sailing in the sea) was worshiped. It was picked up on the beach of Hoi An in 1697. Due to restorations and assistance of the Fukien individuals, the Assembly hall became quite splendid and spacious.
